Everyone’s favourite print fair is open! 🎉 @woolwichcontemporaryprintfair until Sunday. My 3 prints are beautifully displayed in the curated hang in Booth 22, and I have a print with @rableygallery whose solo showcase of Nana Shiomi’s work is a particular highlight. Leading voices from across the field of contemporary art join forces to raise funds for essential humanitarian aid for Palestine through an exhibition and major online art auction. Over 200 artworks have been donated, spanning the disciplines of art, architecture, engineering, and literature.

It will be a unique opportunity to acquire significant artworks by leading contemporary artists, and directly provide essential help for the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. Online bidding opens on 18th November and closes on the 1st December.

All proceeds will go towards the work of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK in Gaza and the West Bank.

The curation explores how landscape and our collective wellbeing mirror each other, considering the entwined nature of our relationship with the environment celebrated through the marks we make. This exhibition delves into the dynamic realm of contemporary painting through the lens of artists who reimagine and experience the natural world through their practices. The online show and symposium in November accompanies a group exhibition at Cork Street Gallery of 13 artists. Landscapes are a potent medium for exploring the intricate symbiotic relationship we have with nature.

Melting Ice | Rising Tides Emma Stibbon’s incredible show @townergallery linking research over several residencies in the polar regions, with landscape local to Eastbourne. Such a treat to view up close the marks and surfaces of large scale watercolour drawings made with powdered aluminium and salt water- alongside works made in the field drawn off ships in wild seas and an impressive sculptural installation. The accompanying film with contributions from climate experts and @carolinelucasbrighton further emphasise the issues embodied in the work.
The show ends next weekend - I’m so happy I got to see it with my family, followed by Eric Ravilious in the permanent collection, Beachy Head, Charleston Farmhouse and John Burningham @johnburninghamofficial @mottisfontnt inspiring couple of days!🌟
